Remember that test, we do it with a lot of people when they first start. That test is called the Romberg test.
It looks at how your cerebellum is functioning. It’s a great general, easy to do test. What happens is that if cerebellar function is out of balance, even fractionally, you are going to be swaying one way or the other. Now, that is really important for your overall long-term health.
Because it is so easy to perform, we can repeat that test and measure how you are improving. In the long-term, your balance is really going to be a crucial element to keep you functional and independent.
