Ever Wonder If Chiropractic Would Be A Good Career?
There is a question that I get a lot, particularly this time of year, as kids go back to school, looking at careers. Seniors in high school are starting to really look into colleges and kids going to college are all thinking about a career. What are we going to do? And I’m asked quite often times by young men and women and by parents: Is chiropractic a good career choice?
I have to tell you, chiropractic is an amazing career, and here is why: When you are a chiropractor you get to help people. Helping people is probably one of the highest calling that one can have in life. And it’s immensely satisfying and gratifying when you get to do that every single day, helping people out, helping people become healthier, feel better, have better lives.
Now beyond that, the lifestyle of the chiropractor is really wonderful. Chiropractic has given Dr. Linda and I everything we have, from our health to making good choices about the food we eat, where we live, and how we live. Chiropractic informs our choice of activities and exercise. As a career it gives the ability to take time off and travel the world, the ability to have kids, and raise them, and pay for their school so that they can have the careers that they want. We also for better or worse are our own bosses. We set the hours, we set the workload, we make the rules.
Chiropractic is an amazing career choice. I highly recommend it for anyone who’s interested. Chiropractic is the health care of our times. It is natural. It is effective. It really is congruent with the whole idea of not making the world more polluted with drugs, with chemicals that come with massive manufacturing behind them. Chiropractic is all natural.
Chiropractic works with the body’s innate ability, the body innate intelligence, the body’s inner energy, and the opportunity to go and put your hands-on people and have them feel better, and see them unfolding as human being. When health returns, wellbeing returns. When they start being able to do the activities that they really enjoy doing, getting back to doing the things they want to do, whether it’s a sport, whether it’s being able to pick up their grandchildren, or being able to stay at work and not have to quit their career, all of those things we see every day.
And I have to tell you, the level of gratification of doing that is absolutely immense. So is chiropractic a good career choice? I am so grateful that I have made that choice, and I would like anyone who is interested in helping people, truly making a difference in people’s lives, to consider becoming a chiropractor. It is fabulous.
