I just want to give you a quick message to say that I know what the holidays feel like. How fun and how stressful they can be. And you know what? The best thing you can do to mitigate that stress from the holidays is to come and get adjusted. Get your spine aligned and have your nervous system evened out so you can relax.
Think about it. Family is visiting. Or family is not visiting. Or you have to pick and choose which family to visit. Stress, stress and more stress.
Shopping. Have you made a shopping list? Is everyone on the shopping list? Who did I forget this year? Oh No. More stress.
And then there is all of the stress associated with shopping. Navigating parking lots. Finding a spot. Parking in a spot made for a golf cart. Will you find the right toy? Amazon is sold out of that item? Where are you going to find it? Why do we all go out to the mall at the same time? Stress.
What about all the food you’re going to eat. You’ve been doing so good with your diet and there it goes out the window for a couple of weeks. Gone. And then we’re looking straight into Valentine’s Day and candy. Even more stress!
And then, there is the decorating. Is it going to be done on time? Are you going to climb up the side of your house? Stress.
The traveling. Everyone wants to go somewhere at the same time. Traffic everywhere, it’s insane. It’s not just a travel day anymore, it’s every day. STRESS.
Did you make it on the list, on the good side or on the naughty side? That’s a lot of stress (except for Dr. Linda, she is ALWAYS on the good list). Let me help you make the good list, or actually we’ll settle for the “I’m feeling good” list.
And then make sure, that you don’t drink too much. That you get enough sleep and you don’t eat too much crap, okay? All of these things are going to be very helpful.
